We are very proud about this new recognition, as it is the sixth year that our BPM solution is distinguished worldwide among the suites of the main players in the industry, what makes it the most awarded in the region.
This distinction adds to the 4 gold medals we got in this category, South America & Caribbean, and the silver medal achieved in North America.

PECTRA Partners Annual Meeting
On November, 24th and 25th we developed the Second Annual Meeting for PECTRA Technology Partners. response to the high participation of our partners last year (+88%), this year we bring up a digital conference (by WebEx) to ensure the simultaneous presence of all representatives of our business partner network and cover Latin America with a single action.

On September 22nd and 23rd , we participated as a sponsor in “The Future of IT 2010” (Buenos Aires, Argentina), organized by the prestigious IT consulting firm Gartner on new trends and prospects in the IT world.
In the event, we had interesting meetings with Gartner analysts, who shared their predictions on the future of BPM, including Janelle Hill.
Janelle Hill is a vice president in Gartner Research. Her current research area is business process management disciplines (such as modeling, analysis, measurement, process ownership/governance, etc.) and new, BPM-enabling technologies. Among its many functions, she evaluates BPM providers. In the conferences that Janelle held, she identified PECTRA Technology as an important vendor in the BPM industry in LatAm.
PECTRA Technology, Inc. is quite aligned with Gartner tendencies, and this event has been an important source of information and trends, best practices on enterprise technologies, new innovations and strategies to add value to our clients’ businesses. As sponsors of the event, we have a booth at the forum of product demonstrations, where we gave advice on the latest version of our platform for Business Process Management, PECTRA BPM Savia.

PECTRA Technology has been honored at the WITSA Global ICT Excellence Awards Ceremony (May, 2010) for the implementation of PECTRA BPM Suite in Monedero (Argentina).
PECTRA BPM Suite was honored in Amsterdam at the 17th World Congress on Information Technology organized by the World Information Technology Society Alliance (WITSA), the most significant global event on information technologies, in the “Private Sector” category for conceiving and developing Monedero, a leader solution in the micro payments’ segment.
This congress is held once every two years and it honors the most outstanding ICT solutions in three different categories:
- Private Sector Excellence, category in which Monedero was honored.
- Public Sector Excellence, where the award was for President Obama’s “Open Government” initiative, executed by TechAmerica.
- Digital Opportunity, a category that had two initiatives acknowledged (England and Hong Kong).
The solution Monedero was proposed through CESSI -Cámara de Empresarios de Software y Servicios Informáticos- as WITSA is the ruling organization for all chambers of commerce at a global level (grouping 74 chambers from 74 different countries), each of which takes part -through its representatives- in the awards by means of successive voting rounds until the winners are selected.
Monedero is a leading means of payment in the micro payment segment in Argentina which allows the user to pay -using the modality of electronic payment- everyday expenses in the public and private transport network, retail chains, and shops partnered with the network. The solution was rewarded on account of its impact on society, considering the number of users that utilize it on a daily basis.

Here are the results of the launching of the last version of our latest business process management suite, PECTRA BPM Savia.
The official launching of PECTRA BPM Savia took place on September 1st, 2009 through a simultaneous event in Argentina, México and Colombia and it was carried out by the prestigious consulting agency, Gartner. In these events, we were sponsors and conference lecturers about Business Processes Management presenting success stories in the region.
- In line with the events, the launching was carried out through the digital minisite exclusively designed to share videos, interviews, and information about the new product.

This was a great opportunity to consolidate our competitive position in the region since more than 30,000 business leaders had the opportunity to interact with our new tool and receive information about our company.
Sheraton Hotel in Colombia, Banamex Center in México and Hilton Hotel in Buenos Aires were the chosen venues for the staging of our presentation carried out together with the prestigious consulting agency Gartner. Activities were developed related to loyalty programs and brand positioning based on commercial management, and our most important Partners and clients. Also, more than 1000 business executives and from the IT industry took part in networking activities, who were presented with the new functionalities of PECTRA BPM Savia.

For the presentation of the product to the media, we developed a fully digital campaign. Nowadays, this represents a more modern and interactive means of communication which covers a much higher number of journalists (not only those who attend a physical event), also reaching the whole of Latin America with the same action. Journalists were invited to visit the launching’s digital minisite via e-mail, from where they could participate in a draw for a laptop.

As a Sponsor of the Gartner event in Buenos Aires, we had the chance to carry out sessions one-on-one with Gartner analysts. Alfredo Cisterna, PECTRA Technology’s Head of Product Division participated in the event in Argentina and said:
